We are seeking a skilled TIG welder for a permanent position in Kerava for our client, Uudenmaan Ohutlevy Oy. We are looking for a competent professional with practical experience in welding thin sheets and a genuine desire to produce high-quality work in a modern production environment. Your expertise may have been acquired through vocational training or diverse work experience. Job Description: In this role, you will work with a variety of thin sheet and pipe welding tasks. Your duties will specifically include: - Welding thin sheets and pipes using TIG and MIG methods. - Primary focus on TIG welding of stainless steel. - Materials: steels and aluminum. - Part thicknesses starting from 1 mm. - Careful grinding after welding. - Depending on your skills and the production situation, other thin sheet work such as spot welding. What we hope for from you? - Work experience in TIG and/or MIG welding of thin sheets. - Ability to read technical drawings and understand welding symbols. - A careful, precise, and independent work approach. - Relevant vocational training in the metal industry (recommended). Working Hours: - The work is in two shifts. - Currently, the evening shift (14:00–22:00) occurs only every 4th week. - Weekly working hours are 37.5 hours. - During the evening shift week, there is an opportunity to complete the work week in four days. Compensation: - Salary according to skills and agreement (Technology Industry Collective Agreement). - Fixed monthly salary plus shift and overtime premiums. - Lunch benefit.
