Hello registered nurse, are you interested in working in a versatile and independent outpatient clinic environment? We are looking for two registered nurses for fixed-term employment at the pulmonary clinic of Ahveniston Hospital in Hämeenlinna to strengthen our nursing team. The work begins on September 2, 2026, and lasts until December 31, 2026. The clinic is open Monday to Friday, and working hours are generally between 7:45 and 15:30. After orientation, there is a partial remote work possibility. We offer both a 100% substitute position and a 40% substitute position. The pulmonary clinic operates as an appointment-based clinic where patients arrive via referrals from wellbeing services' health centers, occupational health care, or specialized medical care. We examine and treat patients with asthma, COPD, lung cancer, allergies, immunotherapy, and sleep apnea, as well as patients with lung tissue diseases. Responsibilities at the clinic are divided among nurses based on their expertise and individual strengths. The work of a registered nurse at the pulmonary clinic involves multidisciplinary cooperation with, for example, doctors, secretaries, rehabilitation instructors, pharmacists, and physiotherapists. The work includes independent reception work. Ahveniston ASSI Hospital is a dynamic and developing acute care hospital with excellent transport links. The new hospital with modern facilities was completed in the spring of 2026. Experience in appointment-based clinic work and the treatment of pulmonary diseases is considered an advantage. To succeed in the tasks of an independent nurse's reception, it is beneficial to be able to tolerate a sense of incompleteness and constant schedule changes, and to know how to prioritize your work. Proficiency in the Lifecare information system is an advantage. We require a degree as a licensed registered nurse. The position also requires a valid medication administration permit, which you can update with us at the start of employment if necessary. The position-specific salary is €2,977.75/month. In addition to the position-specific salary, we pay an experience-based supplement ranging from 0% to 8%. Remuneration and other terms of employment are determined according to the SOTE agreement. The probationary period is six months. Immediate patient and customer work requires vaccination protection as required by Section 48 of the Communicable Diseases Act and a tuberculosis clearance of the respiratory organs according to Section 55.
