Job Description A Preventive Maintenance Technician's role certainly involves no two days being the same. In this independent position, you will handle the preventive maintenance of a challenging production environment according to plan. As you become familiar with the production lines, you will also identify faults and areas for improvement. The primary goal of the work is the undisturbed, efficient, and safe operation of production. Working hours include regular 12-hour weekend shifts, which allow for longer time off during weekdays. Weekday shifts are 8 hours long. Five different business lines at the Vierumäki unit are served by an efficient and highly professional in-house maintenance team. Requirements The position requires maintenance training or otherwise proven technical expertise. Due to the independent nature of the role, we are primarily looking for a candidate with sufficient skills and experience for independent work in an industrial environment. We are seeking reinforcement for both mechanical and electrical maintenance, so your expertise can be in either mechanical or electrical maintenance. Our preventive maintenance teams operate independently, and it is considered an advantage if you can cover both maintenance areas. We are looking for multi-skilled maintenance professionals or individuals with the opportunity, potential, and passion to grow into such a role. We also value social skills.
