We are now seeking a registered nurse for a permanent position in the primary healthcare ward and emergency department of the Ivalo Health Centre. Our ward has 16 patient beds, and outside office hours, we also manage the emergency services, which operate 24/7 in our health centre. We require the applicant to have a legal license in accordance with the Act on Health Care Professionals (559/94). We expect good cooperation skills, an independent work approach, initiative, and the ability to work in a multidisciplinary team. Experience in ward/emergency work and proficiency in the Sami language are considered particular assets. The position is shift work in three shifts. The position-specific salary is €3,082.64/month. The terms of employment are determined according to the SOTE agreement, and the position is subject to a six-month probationary period. Before accepting the position, the selected candidate must present a criminal record extract necessary for verifying the background of persons working with elderly people in accordance with Section 28 of Act 741/2023, as well as a register extract in accordance with the Act on the Verification of the Background of Persons Working with Children and Adolescents (504/2002). The employer has the right to request and receive a certificate regarding a drug test (13.8.2004/759 7§).
