Local Process Manager - R&D - Orkla Care Oy - Remote - Global

As a Local Process Manager – R&D, you will play a key role in driving the successful implementation and long-term adoption of SAP S/4HANA within the R&D function. You will act as the primary business lead for the R&D stream, ensuring that business needs are translated into effective solutions and that processes are aligned, standardized, and optimized across the organization. This role bridges business and IT, ensuring that new ways of working are successfully implemented and adopted. Beyond implementation, you will contribute to sustainable value creation by driving continuous improvements, strengthening governance, and ensuring high-performing, compliant R&D processes. Main responsibilities include acting as Work Stream Lead, representing R&D in SAP projects, driving process standardization, analyzing current processes, supporting decision-making, leading change management, defining master data requirements, supporting data migration, coordinating UAT, delivering training, maintaining governance, monitoring performance, and managing stakeholder communication. We seek a proactive, business-driven professional with strong R&D process understanding and experience in digital transformation, comfortable operating at the intersection of business and IT, with strong analytical and communication skills. Education & Experience: MSc in Engineering, Food Science, Chemistry, Industrial Engineering, or related; 3+ years SAP/S/4HANA or PLM experience; 5+ years in R&D or product development; proven project leadership and process improvement experience. Personal attributes include results-driven, resilient, engaging, and decisive. Other requirements: Fluent in English, Swedish and/or Norwegian, familiarity with SAP S/4HANA.
