Two (2) family worker positions are available at the Southeast Lapland Family Center for home-based services for families with children. The unit's service entity includes home services for families with children, family work services in accordance with the Child Welfare Act and the Social Welfare Act, supervised visitation services, and support person activities. The place of work is located in Rovaniemi. The duties of a family worker include intensified family work according to the Child Welfare Act, family work according to the Social Welfare Act, as well as supported and supervised visits. The family worker operates systematically and goal-orientedly together with the child, family, and collaborating parties, supporting parenthood and everyday coping. The primary goal of the work is to strengthen the families' own resources. The work is mobile and carried out in the families' own environment. The work is shift work, including morning, evening, and weekend shifts. The working hours are based on a flexible working hour arrangement of 38.25 h/week. WHAT DO WE OFFER? WHAT DOES THE ROLE REQUIRE FROM YOU? - The right to practice the profession of a social worker (sosionomi) as a licensed professional. - Good oral and written Finnish language skills. - Performing the duties requires the possibility of using your own car.
