The position is a fixed-term substitution from 24.8.2026 to 31.12.2027. Turku's employment services are part of the vitality service entity. Our mission is to provide personal service to job seeker and employer clients and to promote the meeting of employers and employees. As an employment specialist, you will help strengthen the vitality of the Turku region and build sustainable employment solutions. We are looking for an employment specialist for the service and creative industries sector unit. The position is located within the unit's employer services, but it also includes personal client service. As an employment specialist, you will work with employers, job seekers, and other stakeholders. Your work includes active employer cooperation, regular employer visits, and building new cooperation networks. You will map employers' labor needs and open positions and identify the skills of job seeker clients so that the right talents can be matched to the right roles. Additionally, you will plan and implement events supporting employment in cooperation with various actors and work closely with educational institutions, organizations, and other partners. In this role, you will apply legislation related to labor services in practical client work. Eligibility requirement: A university degree.
