Vähänkyrö Parish is a community parish of over 3,000 members and part of the Vaasa Parish Union. The parish has nine employees, and the parish union has approximately 150 employees in total. The parish aims to be close to people and maintain active cooperation with other operators. We are now looking for a children's instructor to join our team. As a children's instructor, you will work with children and families in clubs, family services, camps, and events. Your primary duties include day, family, and afternoon clubs, as well as family and children's camps. In this role, you will plan, implement, and develop the parish's early childhood education and family activities in cooperation with the youth work instructor, club worker, and the priest responsible for youth work. As a small work community, we are accustomed to working as a team. We expect from you: - Education according to the Church's qualification collection no. 75, which includes, among others, a basic degree or study line for children's instructors, a degree for church youth work instructors, and other basic training approved by the church, such as a degree as a kindergarten teacher, social educator, classroom teacher, or a Bachelor of Theology. - That you are a confirmed member of the Evangelical Lutheran Church - Access to your own car Additionally, we value work experience in parish early childhood education and family work, ability to cooperate within the parish, networking skills, and an independent approach to work. A broad Christianity and an open attitude towards the diversity of life will assist in the performance of the duties. The salary for the children's instructor (base salary + experience supplement) is according to KirVESTES requirement group 402, depending on work experience, €2,464.28–2,784.78/month. Work begins as agreed. The employment relationship has a six (6) month probationary period, and the selected candidate must present an acceptable medical certificate and a criminal record extract.
