Architect

We, at Sweco, design the cities of tomorrow and critical infrastructure in a collaborative and caring work environment. We are looking for an experienced architect to lead building design in demanding projects such as data center developments, and to strengthen our expertise in a rapidly growing field. You will collaborate closely with other architects and with representatives from other design disciplines to ensure high-quality, client-focused architectural design that aligns with project goals. The role includes mentoring junior designers and contributing to internationally ambitious data center projects where solutions are developed to meet a rapidly evolving industry. The studio locations include Helsinki, Turku, Tampere, Jyväskylä, Oulu and Kuopio, with Helsinki as the primary workplace, while working flexibly across Finland. Qualifications include a degree in architecture or construction architecture and a suitable license to practice in architectural design; fluent Finnish and English (spoken and written); experience with Revit and ACC is preferred. Experience with data center projects or large/complex industrial projects is valued, as is the ability to coordinate multidisciplinary design teams and communicate clearly with clients, authorities and project organizations. There is also an emphasis on mentoring younger colleagues and developing data center architectural design with a skilled team.
