About the role

We are seeking a special education teacher for Vattuniemi Primary School for an intensive special support special class for the period 17.8.2026-5.6.2027. Students are directed to the class at the city level. There are 8 students in the class, who generally have a decision on extended compulsory education based on disability, illness or functional limitation. In terms of the curriculum, studies in the class can be according to general or limited learning objectives. There may be individual students in the class whose teaching is implemented according to a curriculum organized by functional areas. Students need teaching provided by a special class teacher full-time. Vattuniemi Primary School started its first school year in August 2020, so now the school's sixth school year begins.
