What is the job about? With Joblink's stocking team, you will work either in various retail locations or at a specific team site. You can conveniently book shifts using the Joblink app. Shifts are generally distributed well in advance, but additional shifts may be available on short notice. It is good to know that stocking work is performed according to the shipments arriving at the store – the need for employees varies based on the size of the shipments. During peak seasons, shipments are larger, increasing the need for stockers. Depending on the location, 0-5 shifts per week are available. Your own flexibility, attitude, and activity affect the number of available shifts. The stockers' task is to shelf the day's arriving shipment according to instructions. There is a target time for the day's work, and performance is measured by efficiency. The shelf stocker role requires initiative, accuracy, systematic approach, and logical thinking skills. The work is physical and the pace is very brisk. We expect an efficient and time-conscious approach to work. Stocking mainly takes place in the mornings starting at 6:00 AM, making the job especially suitable for early risers. Workdays are between Monday and Saturday. At its core, all retail work is about being in the store for the customer. We hope you are excited about a job with a dynamic pace, where beautifully organized shelves please your eye, and where you work independently as part of a team. Before your first shifts, you will receive the necessary tools to succeed in the job. You don't have to worry about being thrown into the deep end without the required skills. What do we expect from you? You do not need previous work experience; a positive attitude and a willingness to learn are most important to us. Previous experience in a grocery store is beneficial but by no means a requirement. You will enjoy working as a gig worker if you like variety and have the courage to handle several different work sites. We hope you have good social skills and enjoy meeting new people. The job requires fluent Finnish language skills, and we expect you to be at least 18 years old. Opportunities for the long term Many of our employees started with us through gig work and later found a permanent position. Joblink can therefore be a step toward a new beginning or a springboard for a career in the retail sector. We offer Salary according to the retail sector's collective agreement (TES). Flexible work according to your schedule, suitable for many life situations. The possibility to take leave whenever you want. Valuable work and customer service experience that is useful in any job. Opportunities to advance to various roles in the retail sector and permanent employment. Our employees have progressed to become cashier trainers, team leaders, store managers, and merchants. Support from Joblink's office team. We are available 24/7, so you can reach us in any situation where you need support and help. A great workplace where people enjoy themselves – many choose Joblink based on a friend's recommendation! A discount on membership fees for Elixia and Fressi gym chains.
