We are hiring a nurse for the gastroenterology and infectious diseases team at Sairaala Nova's internal medicine clinic for a fixed-term position from August 10, 2026, to April 21, 2027. The position is located at the gastroenterology and infectious diseases clinics, where you will work in patient reception. The work is independent, but you will be supported by a multidisciplinary team and experienced colleagues who will orient you to the tasks. Good communication and patient guidance skills, as well as a responsible work attitude, are required. Previous experience in outpatient clinic work is considered an advantage. The work involves both gastroenterology and infectious diseases clinics, where the same healthcare staff work. After orientation, partial remote work is also possible. At the infectious diseases clinic, chronic and acute infectious diseases requiring specialized care, as well as immunodeficiencies, are diagnosed and treated for patients over 16 years old. The nurse's work includes medication management, patient guidance, and close collaboration with infectious disease doctors. At the gastroenterology clinic, patients with inflammatory bowel diseases are primarily treated. The work includes patient guidance related to the disease, self-care, and medication. Nurses work via phone, digitally, and in reception. The salary for the position is €3,115.50 per month. In addition to the base salary, we pay experience-based allowances of 3% for over 5 years and 8% for over 10 years. The qualification requirement is the competence required by the Act on Healthcare Professionals (559/1994), a licensed nurse. The position requires up-to-date medication management skills according to the medication plan or completion of this at the start of employment. Additionally, suitability under Section 48 of the Infectious Diseases Act (vesirokko and tuhkarokko) is required. The employer will determine the need for influenza and pertussis vaccinations. Employment terms are governed by the social and health care collective agreement (SOTE agreement). A trial period applies to the employment. We may conduct interviews during the application period.
