Technician

We are seeking a technician for the Turun Seudun Visi unit in Ravurinkatu. The role includes maintenance, installation, repair and servicing of machinery, piping, instrumentation, electrical systems and process equipment, as well as duties related to process chemicals handling, storage, manufacturing and various measurements. The job also requires written reporting of certain actions and use of electronic maintenance and upkeep systems, and standby duties for the water production system. The successful candidate must have vocational education in instrumentation, electrical or automation engineering or another suitable qualification, and work experience in an industrial environment or water supply. Experience with electronic maintenance and process automation systems is an advantage. A B-class driving license is required. We value genuine interest in water supply. The applicant should be self-driven and able to tackle varied tasks promptly. A security clearance check can be performed for new employees to ensure reliability. This is a permanent position and the start date is as soon as possible according to the agreement. Salary terms follow Avaintes collective agreement.
