SUBSTATION MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN – COME ENSURE THE OPERATIONAL RELIABILITY OF FINLAND'S ELECTRICITY GRID IN THE HÄME REGION! Do you want to work at the most important sites of the electricity grid and ensure that society's critical infrastructure operates reliably around the clock? We are now looking for substation maintenance technicians to strengthen our growing team in Hikiä. We offer a versatile job in a high-voltage environment, where no two days are the same and where you can develop your skills supported by the best professionals in the field. In your work, you will be responsible for scheduled maintenance of substations, fault repairs, operational procedures, as well as various modernization and project works. The position offers the opportunity to work at transmission grid, distribution grid, and industrial substations. You will get to work at the core of the electricity grid and see firsthand how the energy transition, electrification, and renewable energy production are changing the entire industry. Omexom operates in Finland across the entire energy distribution chain, from production to transmission and distribution networks. We provide a wide range of turnkey projects, services, and maintenance in the field. Omexom employs approximately 500 people across Finland. We value interest in maintenance, repair, and installation services for high-voltage substations, as well as repair experience with various machines and equipment. Electrical engineering education and basic IT skills provide a good foundation for success in the job. Substation buildings also contain facility technical systems, so experience with these systems may be part of your professional background. As skills and expertise grow, we require a willingness to participate in the 24/7 fault handling readiness for substation maintenance.
