Tire Fitter

Apply for a fast-paced seasonal job! We are seeking tire fitters for our client's upcoming tire season at tire shops and car service centers in the Kittilä area. If you enjoy physical work, a hands-on environment, and want a fair short-term job with a great team – this position could be for you! Work starts and lasts according to the tire season, which is influenced by regional weather differences. The duration of work is usually 5-8 weeks and typically begins during September-October. EMPLOYMENT DETAILS * Work starts immediately at the beginning of the season * Duration approximately 5–8 weeks * Commitment for the entire season is required * 8-hour shifts on weekdays between 7:00 AM and 6:00 PM WHAT DOES THE JOB ENTAIL? * Changing and installing tires * Moving, washing, and storing tires * Other assisting tasks related to tire changes Work is physical and occasionally hectic, so good basic fitness and a careful work approach are important. You will operate as part of a team where smooth cooperation is the key to success. YOU WILL SUCCEED IN THIS JOB IF: * You have a brisk and proactive work attitude (this is an absolute requirement!) * You are in good physical condition * You work independently and accurately * You are a customer-oriented team player * You have a Class B driver's license * Previous experience in tire installation is an advantage, but not mandatory WHAT DO WE OFFER? * Pay according to the collective agreement for the car tire industry at minimum * Opportunity to earn well during the season * Honest work and clear working hours * A pleasant and fast-paced work community * Good orientation Pay is at least according to the automotive industry collective agreement.
