Lead Developer Tampere — Join Reaktor’s community in Tampere as a Lead Developer. You will work with the full software development lifecycle, help your team succeed, and deliver results. You will be the first point of contact for client technical questions and ensure quality delivery. You will implement features across front-end, back-end, and databases, advocate agile practices, and support healthy work-life balance. You’ll need eight years of experience across back-end, front-end, and DevOps, strong agile project management, team leadership and consulting experience, proficiency in server-side and client-side languages, PostgreSQL, fluent Finnish and English, and a willingness to work in a hybrid setup. Responsibilities
- Be the first point of contact for client technical questions and delivery quality
- Facilitate collaboration between client technology and business teams
- Implement new features across front-end, back-end, and databases
- Promote agile practices and support healthy work-life balance
- Build relationships with the client for future collaboration
- Assist the team in adopting agile practices
Requirements
- Eight or more years of relevant work experience
- Experience with Back End, Front End, and DevOps
- Strong knowledge of agile project management
- Experience leading teams and consulting
- Experience working with multiple client stakeholders
- Proficiency in at least one server-side language (TypeScript/JavaScript/Node.js, Java/Scala/Kotlin, Python)
- Strong knowledge of at least one client-side language/framework (TypeScript/JavaScript React, Swift, Java/Scala/Kotlin, React Native)
- Experience with PostgreSQL
- Fluent Finnish and English
- Willingness to work in a hybrid setup
