We are seeking a traffic instructor for a permanent position at CAP-Autokoulu's locations in the Oulu area (Oulu City Centre, Kempele, Kaakkuri). You can be an experienced instructor or a traffic instructor trainee who has completed the 2.1 study module and has some independent teaching experience. We will tailor the position to your skills, experience and regional preferences, so apply—you are always warmly welcome to our team! In this role you will play an important part in guiding our students to become safe and responsible drivers. You will work with the rest of the staff in the region and be a key part of the daily operations at the centres. As a driving instructor you will have the opportunity to do meaningful work that directly affects traffic safety and our customers’ learning experiences. Each student is different, which makes the work varied and interesting. You will have access to modern teaching tools and the support of a skilled work community. You will be able to develop your own skills and influence the kind of experience our customers have on their journey to a driver’s license. What will you do? Together with the team you will deliver high-quality driving instruction and ensure students progress smoothly on the driver’s license path. Practically this means: teaching B-class driving students, planning and delivering driving instruction safely and purposefully, guiding students according to their individual needs, taking care of the electronic student register and related documentation, utilizing digital teaching tools, collaborating with other centre staff, and participating in the development of teaching and customer experience. What kind of environment will you work in? You will work at CAP-Autokoulun Oulu centres (Oulu City Centre, Kempele and Kaakkuri) on weekdays from 8:00 to 18:00, including driving instruction and other教学-related tasks at these centres and, if necessary, at other Oulu centres. We hope you have: a valid driving instructor license, strong pedagogical and interpersonal skills, customer-focused and collaborative work ethic, ability to work independently as part of a team, fluency in Finnish and good command of English, good computer skills and willingness to learn new systems. It is an advantage to have scooter and/or motorcycle instructor qualifications or interest in training in these, other language skills, and experience with digital teaching tools. Interested? Great!
