Food service worker

We are seeking a full-time food service worker for a permanent contract. The role involves working in the Turku Ruusukortteli production kitchen in the morning and then moving to the Turku Topeliuksen school canteen during the day. We serve our customers in mornings and on weekdays, so weekends are generally free. The job requires a hygienic pass. The selected candidate must present a criminal record extract as required by the Act on the criminal background check for persons working with children within three weeks of starting the job. In this position you will take care of diverse kitchen tasks including small-scale food preparation, dishwashing, serving and display tasks in the dining room, as well as kitchen cleaning and general cleaning, while providing customer service. What we expect from you: enthusiasm and interest in kitchen work; a catering vocational qualification or equivalent; fluent Finnish; willingness to perform physically demanding work and handle rapid changes; proactive, social, and enjoyment of fast-paced, varied situations; previous kitchen experience; knowledge of Aromi14 production control system is a plus.
