Are you an EHS professional driven to build safer, more sustainable workplaces? As an EHS Coordinator at Vestcom (an Avery Dennison company), you will play a key role in driving environmental compliance, occupational health, and safety programs across our U.S. manufacturing facilities. Working autonomously with limited supervision, you will conduct hazard assessments, lead root-cause incident investigations, and foster a strong culture of safety and continuous improvement. This position offers direct career advancement across both Vestcom and the global Avery Dennison enterprise. Shift: Mon-Fri, 8:00am-4:30pm Key Responsibilities Safety Culture & Compliance: Implement EHS systems, conduct facility audits, and ensure daily adherence to OSHA, EPA, and internal EHS standards. Hazard Assessment & Incident Prevention: Facilitate risk assessments, self-inspections, and root-cause analyses to address deficiencies and track corrective actions. Training & Advisory: Develop and deliver engaging site training while serving as a trusted EHS advisor to facility leadership and staff. Metrics & Reporting: Monitor leading and lagging performance indicators, track EHS metrics, and notify leadership or regulatory agencies of incidents as required. Continuous Improvement: Stay current on regulatory laws and partner with multi-site teams to support corporate EHS and sustainability initiatives. Qualifications Experience: 13+ years of EHS, occupational safety, or environmental compliance experience, ideally in a manufacturing or multi-site environment. Knowledge: Foundational understanding of OSHA and EPA regulations, hazard assessments, and waste management practices. Skills: Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and educate team members across all levels of the organization. Competencies: Strong problem-solving mindset (Curiosity), high personal accountability (Deliver Results), and a collaborative approach (Team Before Self). Requirements: Proficiency with Google Workspace or office tools; ability to travel up to 10%. This position will sit near one of Vestcoms manufacturing sites.
