Nurse

Eloisa (Etelä-Savon hyvinvointialue) is seeking a nurse for a fixed-term position in the geriatric assessment ward in Mäntyharju from 1 Sep 2026 to 6 Apr 2027. The nurse will plan, implement, and evaluate patient care and rehabilitation, and assess and plan for subsequent rehabilitation and home-based preservation of independence for geriatric patients, in a multidisciplinary team. The role also includes leading the work team, organizing shifts, and on-call responsibilities as well as leading acute situations. Mentoring and orientation of new staff and students are part of the duties. The ward nurse duties may be tailored to your expertise and interests. Additionally, duties include home-care patient care outside office hours, such as IV therapies, wound care, and substitution therapies in the ward. The ward also handles palliation for the region.
