Service Supervisor

We are hiring for a fixed-term, full-time Service Supervisor position for the food and cleaning services at Hausjärvi municipality. The role is at the Hikiä day care center (Omenakummuntie 6, Hikiä) for 38.25 hours per week, for the period 16 Nov 2026 – 8 Nov 2027. The job includes responsibilities in both food service and cleaning duties. We are looking for someone with a qualification in the food service or cleaning sector. Hygieniapass is required for the position. We hope you will develop yourself and your work and your work community together with colleagues in the food and cleaning services. You will help create a positive working atmosphere by your presence. You should be willing to substitute for a colleague at another unit and you may even consider coordinating food transport with a courier van to deliver meals. The salary is comprised of a job-specific base pay plus possible experience-based increments: 3% after 5 years of experience and 8% after 10 years of experience. The selection is conditional on providing a medical certificate of health and a police clearance from the Finnish law on background checks for working with children (504/2002).
