Terminal Worker

We are looking for container unloaders for gigs of various sizes! Our client company is an international company specializing in logistics services, located in Turku, Southwest Finland, with good transport links. The company's services include transport, intermediate terminal services, and other logistical value-added services. The company employs several dozen employees in various logistics roles. Job description: The duties of a terminal worker include unloading goods containers arriving at the terminal warehouse. Containers may contain, for example, dishes, sports equipment, textiles, games, electronic products, or dry food. The goods to be unloaded can be heavy and the fast-paced work involves a lot of lifting and unloading, so succeeding in the job requires good physical condition and some strength. Work is done in morning and evening shifts. The workplace is located in Turku, within easy reach of good public transport connections. The jobs are often single gigs or slightly longer continuous work gigs. Gig work starts according to the agreement. The work is also suitable for students and alongside self-directed studies. We expect: We are looking for brisk and proactive warehouse workers who can work flexibly in the shifts required by the customer. Previous experience in similar work is an advantage, but we are also ready to teach. The most important things are good physical condition and a desire to work in a warehouse and terminal environment. Orientation is provided for the tasks, as well as a pleasant work community for support. The remuneration for the task is at least according to the TES, taking into account work experience and education. Remuneration is according to the collective agreement considering your work experience, most commonly 14.21€/h.
