Dental Hygienist

We are seeking a dental hygienist/assistant for a permanent position at the Alajärvi Social and Health Centre, Lappajärvi Dental Clinic. New premises are being renovated for the Lappajärvi Dental Clinic in the Kivitupis facilities during the autumn. After the renovation, the Alajärvi social and health centre area will have three service points: Alajärvi, Vimpeli, and Lappajärvi. Our operations are based on a preventive, client-oriented approach, as oral diseases are preventable. The job description mainly includes working as a partner to the dentist and ensuring the operational readiness of the clinic. We use the Life Care patient information system. Eligibility requires qualification in accordance with the Decree on Healthcare Professionals 564/1994 (degree as a dental hygienist/assistant or a practical nurse degree with a specialization in oral health care). The terms of employment and remuneration are determined by the current SOTE agreement, with a position-specific salary at the start of employment of 2704.53 €/month. A probationary period applies to the employment. HYVAEP is a nicotine-free workplace. The position requires vaccination protection according to Section 48 of the Communicable Diseases Act and a report on respiratory tuberculosis according to Section 55.
