Automation Designer

We are looking for an experienced automation professional who wants to utilize their strong technical expertise in industrial automation systems and act as an expert in our customers' projects. **In your role** - you are responsible for the technical implementation of automation design and automation solutions - you perform conceptual design, programming, and commissioning of industrial automation systems - you participate in the definition of system architectures - you provide technical support within project teams - you guide and support junior designers as needed **What we expect from you** - education as a technician, engineer, or Master of Science in electrical or automation engineering - strong expertise in the Siemens TIA Portal environment (PLC, HMI) - knowledge of control systems, for example Siemens WinCC, AVEVA System Platform, and InTouch - knowledge of common fieldbuses, such as Profinet and Profibus - experience with electrical drives, such as frequency converters and servo drives - good collaboration and teamwork skills as well as the ability to work independently - willingness to guide and support junior designers - willingness to perform commissioning tasks in the South Karelia region - willingness to travel **Considered an advantage** - knowledge of DCS systems, for example Siemens PCS7 or Honeywell - other industrial automation software expertise **Why us?** We offer you an interesting role, a flexible hybrid work model, and the opportunity to influence your own job description.
