The Kraken team is building a stable, scalable, and secure Kubernetes platform as part of the Core Infrastructure – Platforms team. The opportunity includes hands-on Kubernetes cluster operations, deployment, networking, and scalability across datacenters; collaborating with senior engineers to reduce operational burden; building automation to improve efficiency; and participating in on-call rotation. Requirements include 3+ years in SRE/Infrastructure/DevOps or similar roles, strong Linux and networking fundamentals, understanding of Kubernetes internals, and scripting or programming experience. Responsibilities
- Gain hands-on experience across Kubernetes cluster operations, deployments, networking, and scalability
- Help build, and operate Kubernetes clusters across multiple datacenters
- Triage and organize infrastructure issues, learning our systems and best practices along the way
- Work with senior engineers to solve complex problems, reducing operational burden from the broader team
- Build automation and tooling to improve team efficiency and reduce toil
- Participate in on-call rotation to maintain platform reliability
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as a Site Reliability Engineer or similar
