The job is an excellent fit for students, those seeking extra income, or individuals who value independent work. Please note that delivery routes are not constantly available in all areas. However, we continuously interview new applicants and maintain a regional applicant register. This allows us to quickly contact a suitable applicant when a delivery route becomes available near their place of residence. We invite applicants for interviews based on their place of residence and the estimated recruitment needs of different areas. Delivery routes handled by bicycle are generally offered within a radius of approximately five kilometers from the applicant's home address. What is the work like? As an early morning deliverer, you work approximately 3-5 hours per night, usually between 01:00 and 06:00. The work involves the delivery of newspapers, magazines, and addressed mail on a predefined route. The shift rhythm is generally six working nights and two nights off, providing a regular rhythm and facilitating the planning of your daily life. Delivery routes and equipment - In Turku, delivery work is mainly performed using a bicycle provided by the employer. - Outside Turku, delivery routes are handled using either a personal car or an employer's car. - For the use of a personal car, we pay compensation according to the current mileage allowance. Pay and orientation - Pay is determined according to the collective agreement between the Industrial Union (Teollisuusliitto) and the Media Union (Medialiitto). - The average hourly earnings for a new deliverer, including supplements, are approximately €12-13/h. - You will receive paid orientation during the day and practical guidance on your own delivery route during the night. - We also pay an orientation bonus of 900 euros during the first nine months of employment.
