GENERAL DESIGN ENGINEER / LEAD ENGINEER (110-400 KV) COME AND DESIGN THE FUTURE OF THE ELECTRICITY TRANSMISSION NETWORK. Do you want to be part of designing solutions that enable Finland's energy transition? We are looking for a Lead Engineer to strengthen our Power business. In this role, you will work on significant 110–400 kV power line and grid connection projects, influencing the development of the transmission network from the early stages of projects to the preparation for implementation. Insplan Oy is a growing Finnish design and expert company. We provide design, consulting, and project management services for energy, electrical grid, and infrastructure projects. We combine strong technical expertise, practical project experience, and a customer-oriented approach to implement solutions for grid companies, energy companies, industry, and renewable energy operators. What does the job involve? As a general designer of power lines, you will participate in projects from their early development stages to the preparation for implementation. You will act as an expert in our customers' important investment projects and provide your insights into technical solutions, feasibility, and cost-effectiveness. Your duties may include, for example: * Preliminary and general design of 110-400 kV power lines * Route and site planning * Design of line profiles and technical solutions * Comparison of overhead line and underground cable options * Cooperation with authorities and stakeholders * Preparation of expropriation and permit processes * Coordination of environmental assessments * Preparation of tender and procurement materials * Technical consulting for customers * Technical guidance of projects and project manager duties based on your experience What kind of expert are we looking for? You may be an experienced power line design expert or a designer seeking the next step in your career. The most important thing is an interest in demanding infrastructure projects and a desire to develop into a top expert in the field. We hope you have: * A suitable engineering or Master of Science in Technology (DI) degree * Experience in power line, electrical grid, or energy infrastructure projects * Understanding of the structures and operating principles of the electricity transmission network * Ability to manage extensive technical entities * A proactive and solution-oriented approach to work * Good interaction and cooperation skills We consider experience in the following as a particular advantage: * 110-400 kV power line projects * Projects for Fingrid, Caruna, Elenia, or other grid companies * Grid connection and renewable energy projects * Client project management and site supervision * Project manager duties * Authority and expropriation processes Why Insplan?
