Caregiver

This is a temporary/respite caregiver position in Vihti, Finland. The applicant will provide support to a 16-year-old boy with developmental disabilities (intellectual disability and autism) who communicates via sign language, pictures, and touch. The role is primarily weekday-based with occasional weekend shifts, up to 40 hours per week, and ends 31 October 2026. The caregiver should be calm, gently firm, decisive, and patient. The person enjoys walking, trampoline, listening to music, watching TV and YouTube, and good food and cooking. A personal car is required as there is no public transport to the home. The job requires a registered social or health care professional and experience with autistic individuals, especially non-speaking autistic people. A current criminal record extract is required.
