**Job Description** We are seeking activity guides for North Resort Oy. You will be responsible for implementing safe and experiential program services for international customers and participate in the operational activities of the tourism center. **Key Responsibilities** - Planning and implementing guided activities. - Guiding, instructing customers, and ensuring safety. - Customer transport as needed. - Maintenance and ensuring the readiness of program service equipment. - Assisting with property maintenance tasks, snow removal, firewood management, and other operational maintenance measures. - Inspections of equipment and safety gear. **Requirements** - Suitable education or experience in program services, nature guiding, or the tourism industry. - A degree as a wilderness and nature guide or equivalent is considered an advantage; a certified lead guide qualification is a strong advantage. - Experience with snowmobiling, ATVs, reindeer, huskies, snowshoeing, canoeing, or other nature activities is considered an advantage. - At least a Class B driver's license; experience in customer transport is considered an advantage. - Valid EA1 first aid training or equivalent first aid qualification; EA2 is considered an advantage. - Excellent safety and risk management skills. - Readiness to act in emergency and exceptional situations and participate in safety exercises. - Good local knowledge of Lapland's nature and hiking environments is considered an advantage. - Fluent English skills; other language skills are considered a significant advantage. - Good physical condition and readiness to work in varying weather conditions. - Readiness for evening, weekend, and seasonal work. **We Offer** - The opportunity to work in an international tourism center in the middle of Lapland's nature. - A versatile and responsible role with high-quality orientation. - A supportive work community and modern tools. - The opportunity to be part of building a new tourism destination. **Terms of Employment** - The employment is permanent or fixed-term depending on the position. - Working hours are determined according to the shift schedule. - The employment follows the Collective Agreement for Tourism, Restaurant and Leisure Services (MaRa TES). - A 6-month probationary period applies in accordance with the Employment Contracts Act and the collective agreement. - Salary is determined based on skills, experience, and the MaRa TES. - The selected person must provide an acceptable medical certificate regarding their health status before the start of employment.
