About the role

You will get to work in an inspiring and professional team and work community. The group consists of children aged 2-5. In addition to yourself, the team includes two early childhood education teachers. Suvela Kindergarten is located in an environment close to nature, within walking distance of the Tuomarila and Espoo center train stations. Suvela Kindergarten has 5 groups: Varpuset is a pre-primary group, Tintit is a 2-5 year old group, Sirkut is a 2-5 year old group, Satakielet is a 1-3 year old group, and Peukaloiset is a 2-5 year old group. Eligibility requirement: Eligibility in accordance with the Early Childhood Education Act (540/2018, Section 28, Decree 753/2018 Sections 3 and 4). A vocational qualification in education and guidance, a vocational qualification in social and health care, or another equivalent degree suitable for the position, which includes or has been supplemented by sufficiently extensive modules in childcare, education, and teaching. E.g., childcare worker, daycare worker, and practical nurse (child and youth care and education training program). We require previous experience working with children, diverse customer work, and self-management skills. The position also requires a sensitive approach in accordance with the early childhood education plan and an interest in diverse early childhood education. Teamwork skills and good interaction skills are also requirements for the position. The person selected for the position must present a criminal record extract as referred to in Section 6.2 of the Criminal Records Act. The Communicable Diseases Act requires the clarification of tuberculosis infection risk for those working with children under school age.
