Itä-Uudenmaan hyvinvointialue is seeking a NURSE for a fixed-term position from now until 31 December 2026, or start by agreement. The role initially places the nurse in primary care hospital services, ward 5 in Lovisa, with the ward moving to Porvoo in autumn 2026. Ward 5 is a 25-bed hospital ward. In the ward we treat acute patients, including patients with various infections, patients transitioning from rehabilitation and specialized care to continuation of care, and patients needing palliative care. Nursing work is done in well-functioning multi-professional teams, respecting the dignity and rights of our patients. Eligibility requires a university-level degree in nursing or a comparable degree with a license under the Act on Healthcare Professionals (559/1994) (JulkiTerhikki). In addition, good spoken and written skills in one domestic language and satisfactory spoken skills in the other domestic language are required. Experience from hospital wards and rehabilitation nursing is advantageous. Terms are governed by the Sote contract and a trial period applies. The position is a shift job with a fixed monthly salary of 3135,02 € per month. Vaccination protection under the Communicable Diseases Act § 48 and tuberculosis screening under § 55 are required.
