Are you interested in leading the planning of pharmaceutical industry projects and developing the planning process? Orion Pharma is seeking for a plant engineering professional who already has some experience in leading planning projects. Engineering functions are undergoing a major transformation as digital working methods and tools become more common in the industry, and you have the opportunity to be involved in shaping the future in terms of them. The Planning Manager reports to Head of Construction and the main office is in Espoo. The position is permanent and the working model is hybrid. Your office will be located in Espoo, Finland, but if necessary, you will also support the facility management operations of other Orion Pharma locations to the agreed extent. Responsibilities As Planning Manager, you will be responsible for the smooth running of Orion Pharma Espoo's planning operations and their development. The main responsibilities are: - Leading, supervising and coordinating planning is part of your duties in the agreed area of responsibility so that common goals are achieved. - You will be responsible for managing planning consultants and guiding them in projects and maintenance tasks. You will work closely with Facility Managements’ experts in various fields of technology. - In projects, your task is to act as a liaison between users and planning consultants in all fields and to support Orion Pharma's supervisors in projects during the planning and implementation phase. - You will act as the main partner to the BIM coordinator. - In addition to projects, your tasks in the maintenance phase include the management of technical documents. What are we looking for? - We require you to have good knowledge of planning processes, Autocad skills, information model knowledge (BIM) and education suitable for the task, e.g. BSc / MSc - Eagerness to learn and adopt current and future digital tools and working methods (VR, AR, 3D platforms) - Experience in planning tasks creates good conditions for performing the task - You must have good interaction and cooperation skills, an active approach to work and a desire to learn new things. A development-oriented attitude, problem-solving skills, and commitment to and adherence to agreed operating methods are very important. - You are self-motivated, proactive and easily approachable. You set clear goals, know how to ask for help when needed and coordinate the quick resolution of problem situations. You organize your own work efficiently even under pressure. - The working language is Finnish, so good spoken and written Finnish language skills are an absolute prerequisite for performing the tasks. - Fluent English (spoken and written) Knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry and project work experience are considered an advantage, but are not a requirement for the position. Also, knowledge of building technology systems is considered an advantage, but is not a requirement for the position.
