Frontend Developer

About the Role We are a Front-End engineering team that works with, React, Typescript, Redux and DSL (Domain Specific Language). As a developer, you would also contribute to open-source library that's used by our closed-source project. Our ideal candidate is someone looking to move away from making CRUDs into a more of a problem-solving role, as we generate most of our codebase through our own compiler which reads the already mentioned DSL. Job role also entails sometimes writing E2Es and smoke tests in Puppeteer and rarely working on a mobile app that's React + Cordova. Ultimately there will be endless possibilities to learn and grow, and if by any chance you get bored, possibility to pick up a new technology on the side (i.e., to learn Scala and do the Back End part of your task with the help of Back End colleagues). What You’ll Do - Develop new features and fix bugs in React, Typescript, DSL and Redux for our web and mobile application. - Refactor legacy React code and address tech debt. - Increase habitability by maintaining existing and development of new internal tooling. - Contribute to our open-source library (Revenj). - Develop unit and E2E tests in coordination with QA/E. - Attend daily stand up and bring issues to company's attention. - Share knowledge and support team members in accomplishing their tasks - Timely response to all written and verbal communication. About You - A team player that thrives in dynamic, fast-paced environments. - Impeccable JavaScript and React knowledge (for medior it's "Good understanding of JavaScript and React") with 7 - 10 Years of experience. - Strong command of the English language with at least one good skill in presentations, written or verbal communication. It’s important to transfer ideas throughout the team, and clear communication is critical in high velocity teams. - Good understanding of general programming concepts. - Strong problem-solving skills. - Curiosity and willingness to learn.
