Hakusessa hyvä tyyppi! We are seeking a permanent employee to work as a social worker in the Alppikadun supported housing unit focusing on mental health, addiction, and homelessness work. Social workers support residents at different stages of housing, including monitoring rent payments, applying for benefits with clients, assessing support needs, and collaborating with various networks. The role emphasizes ensuring housing continuity in various ways. Work is daytime, weekdays, with a flexible schedule, and you can plan your day. The social workers' team consists of four social workers, each acting as a dedicated worker for about 20 residents. They are supported by unit instructors, a nurse, a job coach, a team leader, a supervisor, and the unit manager. You should be educated as a social worker (sosionomi) and may have prior experience in substance abuse and mental health work; the most important thing is the ability to meet clients in varying life situations and work as part of a multidisciplinary team. You have a good sense of humor, resilience, and tolerate ambiguity. We offer varied and interesting work with thorough onboarding and support from a skilled team. The Alppikatu unit operates under the Housing First principle, offering supported housing for those who have experienced homelessness. The unit has 89 resident places and staff on-site around the clock. The unit's core mission is to secure the residents' housing in their own rental homes, and a core idea is to provide residents with a sense of dignity, inclusion in life, and belonging to the community and society. Salary under TES G25E for private social services (3073.62-3353.31 €/month). We also provide occupational health care and e-pass benefit.
