You will gain good preparedness, supportive colleagues, and supervisory support to grow in the role. The role involves patrolling to address improper parking and supervising multiple sites. You will gradually take on different districts as you settle in, so days won’t be the same. Sites include hotels, hospitals, shopping centers, and commercial properties. We continuously develop parking services at all levels because service quality is our pride. We use good systems to speed up work on the ground. You will also receive a lunch benefit and your vehicle is a low-emission Toyota hybrid. The job is shift work, typically 6–14 and 14–22. You will also have at least one free weekend per month. We aim for regular shift planning and will consider requests as fairly as possible. The guard’s hourly pay depends on prior proven experience as a parking inspector or area patrol. There may also be opportunities to earn extra by taking training shifts or overtime. Would you be suitable as a parking inspector? The job requires thoroughness and precision. Do not get overwhelmed in customer situations, and you should get along well with people. The role also requires excellent Finnish language skills (spoken and written). Naturally there is some driving involved, so you must be of legal age and have at least one year of driving experience with a vehicle-based job. Alternatively, you may have held a driving license for at least two years and have regular driving experience, e.g., daily commuting by car.
