Design Project Manager

g2 are currently working with a leading engineering and infrastructure company that is looking to appoint an experienced CSA Design Project Manager to support the delivery of a major bridge project in Frankfurt. Location: Frankfurt, Germany Duration: Permanent Start Date: ASAP Language: English required, German preferred Key Responsibilities: - Lead and manage all CSA design activities for a major bridge infrastructure project. - Coordinate civil, structural, and architectural design teams to ensure project objectives are met. - Manage project schedules, budgets, design deliverables, and risk mitigation plans. - Ensure compliance with German regulations, industry standards, and client requirements. - Act as the main point of contact between clients, contractors, consultants, and stakeholders. - Review and approve engineering drawings, technical documentation, and design packages. - Drive project performance through effective communication and stakeholder management. - Support value engineering initiatives and continuous improvement throughout the project lifecycle. Essential: - Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline. - Proven experience managing the design and delivery of bridge or major infrastructure projects. - Strong background in CSA project management. - Experience leading multidisciplinary design teams. - Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. - Strong understanding of project planning, budgeting, and risk management. - Fluent English language skills. Desirable: - Previous experience working on large-scale bridge, rail, highway, or transportation projects. - Knowledge of German construction regulations and approval processes. - Project Management certification such as PMP or PRINCE2. - German language skills. - Experience working within Design & Build or EPC environments.
