Valio Oy's Joensuu plant produces a third of all Valio cheeses, our main products are Valio Polar® cheeses, Valio Salaneuvos® cheeses and Valio Viola® cream cheeses. In the coming years, the further processing and packaging of cheeses and the production of plant-based products will be centralized in Joensuu, and accordingly, the number of people at the plant will increase by about 300 Valio gang members. Would you be a suitable addition to our team? We are now looking for product manufacturers for the processed cheese production process (production and packaging) for a permanent employment contract. The work is 3-shift work. The work is versatile and interesting food industry work, where your handiwork is visible in Valio's high-quality, sustainably produced products. With us, you can make food production more sustainable throughout the production chain. In your position, you will: - Ensure that the processed cheese production and packaging process runs smoothly - together with the team - Take care of the status reporting and system entries of your area of responsibility - Perform quality control of raw materials, products and processes and react to deviations - Ensure the smoothness of the process meeting delivery reliability, quality and food safety criteria - Take care of daily process washes and surface washes according to cleaning programs You are the person we are looking for if you have: - Education in the food, dairy or technical field (possibility of apprenticeship training) - Initiative and a responsible approach to work tasks - Ability for independent and group work - Good interaction and group work skills and flexibility - Ability to learn and manage change and a positive attitude - Basic IT skills - Fluent Finnish language skills In addition, we value: - Hygiene expertise and knowledge of food safety - IT skills (e.g. SAP, Microsoft Office software) - Knowledge of the food industry and experience of the cheese production process - UAS level education (not mandatory) The collective agreement and remuneration applicable in the position are according to MVL/Meipaken.
