Distribution Coordinator

Posti is seeking a Distribution Coordinator for a permanent, part-time position in Hämeenlinna. The primary responsibility is to ensure the smooth flow of nightly operational activities in collaboration with the production supervisor. The role involves managing the handling and routing of products across various regional sites, overseeing regional vehicles, handling sudden operational deviations during the night, and providing work instruction. Additionally, the coordinator manages weekend operational arrangements and reporting. When necessary, the role includes performing actual distribution work. The position reports to the regional production supervisor and requires close cooperation with other regional operators. Shifts are primarily between 23:00 and 08:00, including weekends. Requirements include a strong desire and ability to work nights, excellent English skills (Finnish communication skills are also needed), high stress tolerance, and the ability to make independent decisions quickly. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) is required. Candidates must have a driver's license, significant driving experience, and their own car is essential as the role requires movement between different regional sites.
