Clothing Retail Sales Associate

We are seeking a part-time salesperson for a clothing specialty shop in Tampere. This is not a chain or mass-market store, but a traditional and personable boutique where customers are served with genuine care and products are treated with pride. The role involves in-store sales, customer service, and handling online shop orders, along with other supporting tasks. When quieter, tasks may include practical duties; hands-on skills and proactive work attitude are valued. The customer base consists of local clients and visitors from farther away who seek the boutique’s services, emphasizing service orientation and the ability to meet different people. The company operates in a traditional craft and specialty retail environment, valuing quality natural materials and timeless products. The ideal candidate enjoys working in a small, close-knit team, can work independently, and approaches work responsibly. Prior sales or customer service experience is an asset, but the right attitude, interest in specialty retail, and willingness to learn are most important. The position is part-time, with approximately 13–21 hours per week initially. Shifts fall between Monday and Saturday. The employment relation follows the retail sector collective agreement.
