You can focus on the patient’s best care with efficient processes, functional equipment, and an experienced staff. In addition to reception duties you may perform minor eye procedures and eyelid surgery depending on your competence and interest. In our Oulu unit ophthalmic nurses and opticians support smooth patient work and ensure a high-quality diagnostic and treatment package. Comprehensive occupational health services enable efficient patient flow. Aino acts as the unit physician and expert supervisor and supports doctors in daily matters. We also have national expert networks and career advisers. The Oulu site is among the region’s largest and offers occupational health, general and specialty medical services, imaging and laboratory services under one roof, making the patient care path clear and smooth. The lead’s role is to be responsible for medical quality, to develop the specialty and the conditions for work, and to ensure collaboration across specialties and the ophthalmologists’ network.
