This role showcases your experience in project management and construction as you drive complex building projects forward and collaborate with clients. You will influence how WSP’s construction services appear in the Tampere, Oulu and Rovaniemi regions. You will be responsible for project management and construction as a whole: leading the work with purpose, ensuring schedules, budgets and quality, and serving as a trusted partner to the client across project stages. Projects span both public and private sectors, from large and demanding programs to smaller assignments where client relationships and practical expert work are close at hand. You will be supported by construction, supervision, bid preparation and other expert competences. Success in this role also hinges on established client relationships and networks built up over your career, and you should be able to advance client collaboration convincingly in the new role.

- Lead construction projects in construction management and project leadership roles.
- Ensure projects progress according to objectives, schedules and budget.
- Build trusted client relationships and identify new opportunities with the team.
- Collaborate with supervision experts and support supervision work as needed.
- Participate in bid preparation and contribute essential expert insight into projects and client needs.
- Support the team’s capability development with your experience and expertise.
Requirements
- At least five years of experience in project management and construction; university degree in building construction management or related field; good knowledge of construction management, project management and overall project governance; experience in long-term client relationship management and ability to build trust with clients; willingness to leverage own client understanding to identify new assignments; ability to work both independently and as part of a team; fluent Finnish and good English.
