Kemijärven Jäähalli Oy is seeking an Arena Manager for a permanent position to be responsible for the daily operations of the ice hall, property maintenance, and ensuring high-quality ice conditions. The employment is permanent. The actual operating season of the ice hall is annually from August to the end of April. During the summer season, the employee works in other suitable property maintenance and service tasks within the city group. Working hours: During the ice hall season, primarily weekdays from 13:00 to 21:00 according to general working hours. Weekends are primarily free. Key duties of the Arena Manager include: Daily operation and monitoring of the ice hall, ice production, freezing and ice maintenance, monitoring the use of the ice hall's refrigeration and building technology, daily monitoring of the property's technical systems, small maintenance and repair work, and cooperation with user clubs, schools, and other customers. Additionally, ensuring safety and cleanliness of the property, participating in event preparation when necessary, and performing maintenance and upkeep tasks for the city group's properties during the summer season. Suitable education for the position, for example: Sports facility caretaker, sports facility manager, property manager, or other suitable vocational education. Previous experience in ice hall maintenance, refrigeration technology, or property maintenance is considered an advantage. We require a proactive and responsible work approach, interest in building technology, good cooperation and customer service skills, ability to work independently, willingness to familiarize oneself with ice hall technology and ice maintenance, and a Class B driver's license. Remuneration is determined according to YTES based on the demandingness of the position. The position is subject to a 6-month probationary period.
