Apetit is a significant Finnish processor of vegetable oils and a producer of rapeseed and canola meal. We produce rapeseed and canola oil in our vegetable oil press in Kirkkonummi by mechanical pressing. Rapeseed & canola oil is purified to be food-grade by physical refining. Annually, about 130,000 tons of seeds pass through our continuous production process. Our modern manufacturing method is designed to burden the environment as little as possible. The vegetable oil press gets its energy from its own bioenergy plant, where production side streams can also be used efficiently. We are constantly looking for new people with fresh thinking to join our ranks to build Apetit and the story of plant-based food solutions. At our factory, occupational safety and food hygiene play an important role in everyday activities. Our vegetable oil press is located in Kantvik, Kirkkonummi, about a 30-minute drive from Helsinki.
