Postal Worker Jyväskylä

We are looking for a customer for a Postal Worker position in Jyväskylä. Your tasks will include delivering letters, parcels and other mail by car, on a cargo scooter, or with a cart. Your starting point and finish line will be in Jyväskylä city center or Seppälänkangas; the starting point may vary between these two sites depending on the route. Generally, work is done on weekdays from Monday to Friday with some exceptions. Shifts start between 09:00 and 10:00 and the daily hours average about 8 hours. Start time and hours may vary slightly depending on the amount of mail and the route. Mail is delivered with the company’s own vehicle, as well as with three- and four-wheeled electric scooters and a cart. The route changes according to the mail-distribution model, so you work on different routes. The routes feature multiple staircases in apartments, which requires good physical condition. We value independence, initiative, accuracy and flexibility. Applicants must have a B-class driving license, a occupational safety card, and experience driving a car. Previous experience in a similar role is not required, as training will be provided. During the entire employment you will have the solid support of your team. In the job you should be cheerful, independent customer service professional who can deliver mail with a smile to customers. You must be able to communicate in Finnish when delivering packages home.
