Specialist Physician

A fixed-term position for a specialist is open in the mood disorders outpatient care team at Tyks Psychiatry for the period 1.9.–31.12.2026. The position will later be filled permanently. Your role In the work group, you will treat mood disorder patients in the Raisio and Vakka-Suomi regions as part of an experienced, multidisciplinary community. Your work includes diverse clinic duties, where you will utilize your expertise in patient examination, treatment, and treatment planning. Your place of work is located in Turku, and the position also includes remote appointments for the Vakka-Suomi region. Eligibility requires legalization or a permit to act in physician duties as stipulated in the Act on Health Care Professionals 559/94, and specialist qualification in a suitable specialty. The suitable specialty is psychiatry. If no eligible applicants are found, a resident physician or a Licentiate of Medicine may be hired for the fixed-term period. Language requirements include good oral and written Finnish skills and satisfactory oral and written Swedish skills.
