About the role

Vantaa city, Education and Learning, Swedish-language services, Håkansböle daycare. Employment length: 24.08.2026 or by agreement. We welcome you who want to work as a childcare worker in early childhood education at our Swedish-speaking daycare Håkansböle in Vanda. You will meet knowledgeable, committed, and friendly colleagues in a positive work culture. Our work is based on the vision: We grow, play, and learn together for a sustainable future. For 2026–2027, we focus on language and communication, play, and well-being. We participate in the ProSmå project to strengthen socio-emotional skills. A new daycare, Silva, will replace Håkansböle in autumn 2027. As a childcare worker, you offer children security, care, and support, working in a pedagogical team and collaborating with multiprofessional actors. Requirements: good ability to cooperate in a team, secure and respectful communication with children, colleagues, and guardians, and responsiveness to individual needs. Qualifications: Childcare worker (according to the Act on Early Childhood Education). Good skills in the Swedish language. Terms are determined by the general municipal service and work collective agreement (AKTA). Salary: 2553.28 euro/month, plus possible experience-based supplement. Required: valid criminal record extract and tuberculosis screening. Full-time, 38 h 15 min/week. Application period: 07.08.2026 to 23.08.2026.
