Sales Assistant

A sales position in Naantali, Finland. The Sale Rymättylä team at Turun Osuuskauppa is hiring a permanent part-time sales assistant (10 hours/week) and a fixed-term part-time sales assistant (10 hours/week) until 31 December 2026. Responsibilities include customer service, cash handling, shelf replenishment, collecting food orders, general store organization and cleaning. The role is fast-paced and requires the ability to switch between tasks. Some shifts may be worked alone, so you must be of legal age. Shifts are aligned with store opening hours: weekdays 5:30–21:10 and weekends 7:30–21:10. You should be able to travel to the store location during all opening hours. The ideal candidate enjoys working with people, communicates well with customers and colleagues, is proactive, and eager to learn all store tasks. Previous experience in similar roles is advantageous. Salary is based on the Trade Association for the Retail Industry; hourly wage ranges from €10.89 to €14.57, depending on training and experience. Evening and weekend supplements add to base pay, and there may be a performance bonus of up to €1.20 per hour.
