About the role

Technical specialist for shipbuilding systems, responsible for the technical implementation of device-level systems in propulsion and maneuvering equipment, and for ensuring that solutions function across project phases. You will deliver between design and production, review device specifications, pictures, calculations and installation/work descriptions, monitor manufacturing and participate in factory testing. You will provide system-level coverage including propulsion, steering equipment and main power/electric generation equipment. You will develop collaboration between production and design and, if needed, draft installation and commissioning instructions. You may participate in dockside and sea trials as required. Requirements include strong mechanical, manufacturing and materials technology knowledge, plus electrical and automation literacy; experience with ship propulsion and steering gear and main power equipment; appropriate education (DI or engineer); at least 3 years of relevant experience.
