Vocational Teacher

We are seeking a part-time (60%) hourly teacher for Ammattiopisto Lappia in the cleaning services field for a fixed-term appointment until 18 December 2026. The position begins according to the contract. Teaching will primarily take place in Tornio. The teacher's task is to teach the basic qualification in the cleaning services field. We require the applicant to have a specialized professional qualification and/or a polytechnic degree, as well as solid and diverse work-life experience in the cleaning services field. Online teaching skills and experience working with immigrant students are also considered advantageous. Qualifications are defined in the Decree on teaching staff 986/1998. Salary and terms of employment are determined according to the current Municipal Employment Personnel Collective Agreement (OVTES). The selected candidate must present a document of suitability to work with minors as required by law 504/2002 before taking up the position. The position follows a one-month trial period.
