Telecommunication Installer

We are seeking a telecommunications installer for our client in Turku. The role involves installation, interconnection and fault-finding of telecommunications equipment. You will work with both fixed fiber optic and wireless mobile networks in building environments, cabling, configuring routers, switches and base stations on-site at customer locations and in buildings. You will ensure that internal networks and regional backbone networks operate reliably, securely and according to modern standards. The job sites are largely in Turku, with possible assignments at client sites elsewhere in Finland. The employer is a traditional electrical industry company, and your background could be in telecommunications or electrical installation. We expect prior experience as a telecommunications installer, training in electrical or telecommunications sector, fiber welding experience is a plus, customer service orientation, fluent Finnish, and a B-class driving license with own car preferred. The job is covered by the electrical installation collective agreement. Salary range in the position is 14.89–19.48 EUR/hour, determined by suitability and experience.
